STRANG LINE RD SBD
Construction of the extension of Strang Line Road starting at a point near Greenwood Street and running north approximately 495’ toward Cottonwood Street. Such improvement shall be constructed as a two lane, thirty-six (36) foot wide street to back of curb and include concrete curb and gutter, asphalt pavement, storm drainage, street lighting, landscaping, utility relocation, preliminary and final engineering, title and survey, staking, grading, construction supervision, staking, testing, right of way for the approximate 495’ strength length, financing costs such as bond counsel, financial advisor, bond and interest expenses and other related appurtenances.
87TH STREET PARKWAY FROM RENNER BLVD. TO LENNOX DR. SBD
Construction and/or reconstruction of the following roadways:
  • 87th Street Parkway, an existing 4-lane arterial roadway, from just west of Lennox Drive easterly to the southbound I-435 ramp termini (excluding ramps), including (a) approximately 500 feet of transition from 4-lane undivided to 4-lane divided roadway – with widening for turn lanes beginning just west of Lennox Drive; (b) approximately 3,000 feet of divided roadway (3-10’ lanes w/ curb and gutter and parallel parking on both sides in each direction); and (c) approximately 500 feet of 4-lane divided roadway – with widening for turn lanes east of Renner Boulevard;
  • Renner Boulevard - reconfiguration north and south of 87th Street which includes approximately 750 feet of 4-lane divided roadway; and
  • Four “connector” roads tying eastbound and westbound 87th Street at the split alignment of 87th Street just west of Renner Boulevard, which includes approximately 1,000 feet of 2-lane roadway, and includes signalization of the three easternmost roads at both the eastbound and westbound lanes of 87th Street.
The project, for each of the roads indicated above, includes utility relocation, environmental review and mitigation; paving; construction of curbs and gutters; storm drainage; street lights; sidewalks/pedestrian trails; landscaping; right of way, easement and condemnation costs; preliminary and final engineering; survey; staking; grading; erosion control; appraisal fees; construction supervision/inspection; testing; and other related improvements to be constructed with the main improvement; City administrative costs; legal fees; and costs associated with the bond and interest expense associated with financing the improvement and other necessary appurtenances.

  3. 99th Street from Mize Boulevard, a distance of 500 feet to be constructed to the City’s design standards for a major collector street with four lane, divided median, (hereinafter “Base Street Improvements”).
239 - 95TH STREET SBD
Design and construction of 95th Street from Monticello Road to either (1) the east property line of the Olathe School District property, which will include approximately 1,300 feet of 2-lane collector street construction. Work will include curbs, gutters, grading, paving, left turn lanes, entrances to the Olathe School District property and the Brampton West residential subdivision, sidewalks, streetlights, storm drainage, pavement markings, landscaping and permanent signing. Cost of construction traffic control and erosion control; right of way acquisition; construction inspection and all other related appurtenances, all located within the public right of way; City administrative fee and costs associated with the notes, bonds and interest expense incurred in financing the improvement are also included.
